1. Download the I9100XXLPB stock ROM then extract it after download.

2. Grab Odin v1.83 or v1.85.
3. Run Odin.
4. Load the binary files:

5. Set the SGS II in Download Mode: Volume Down+Center + Power \Lock buttons at the same time.
6. When the phone display in downloading mode, connect it to PC.
7. Hit "START" button once Odin recognize that the device is already connected.
8. Wait until the flashing successfully completes.

Do factory reset, *2767*3855# or via recovery mode (Button press Volume UP+Center+Power).Then select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
Reconfigure your APN settings if network connection failure occurred.
Change it to your prepared language in your region.

Odin: How to Flash/Install I9100XILA2 Android 2.3.6 Stock ROM on Samsung Galaxy S II/2

The firmware update build I9100XILA2 is an upgrade to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread on Samsung Galaxy S II. This is the newest official firmware update by Samsung releases this year with a build or modified date of  January 13, 2012 . This firmware was officially rolled out in Italy. One thing new on this firmware is that it features a new lockscreen that looks like an Android Ice Cream Sandwich with touchwiz. There is an improvement in battery life usage, battery drains too slow which is a bit impressive. Some several features were added, more faster and much better than previous build I9100XXKL1.

Flashing the Stock ROM I9100XILA2 with Odin Downloader tool. 
This method if you are having issues updating with KIES or if you wanted to install it if you came from other region outside Italy.

This guide uses the original stock I9100XILA2 with Italy default CSC file ITV.
Grab the stock ROM via Sammobile:

Extract it after download, the password is: samfirmware.com

If you want to upgrade but came from other region , you can use the Frankenstein version which is by flashing desired CSC file that is built for your country. You can grab it here at Intratech's Frankenstein Firmware file. 

Before proceeding, do things as follows to avoid any future problem issues.
- Make a back-up copy of all important data stored from the device.
- Make sure that the battery is at-least 80%  charge.
- Use a good condition USB cable wire a PC with a working USB serial ports.

1. Run Odin v1.85
2. Load the extracted file on the PDA field.
Click on the PDA button then select the I9100XILA2_I9100XWKI1_I9100OXIKK1_HOME.tar.md5

3. Then set the phone in Download Mode: Press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power button.
4. Once in Download mode, connect to PC,.
5. When Odin recognize it and the phone is properly connected,  hit the "START" button.

6. Wait until the flashing completely finish.

That's it! if you experience bootloops after flashing. Do full factory reset or wipe data cache.
If you want to get root, look for chainfire's CF-ROOT kernel released at XDA.

This is the 7th Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich leaks for Samsung Galaxy S II and maybe there is more as long as this build goes stable.

I9100XXKPA Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich Firmware Upgrade for Samsung Galaxy S II

A firmware build I9100XXKPA packed in Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich has just been leak for Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100. This is the third ICS 4 build for Galaxy S II that freshly came out this year from Sammmobile since the last two ICS build I9100XXKP4 and I9100XXKP8 last December.

Again, this is a beta released and not yet officially released by Samsung over Kies server. If you ever installed the XXKP4 or XXKP8, there isn't much special on this ROM, but one good thing about this ROM  is that it is more stabler than the last two builds and this time the camera, USB and SD is working now. Although, some bugs are still present since this is only a beta but hopefully we have an info from one of our trusted source that the Devs are are still working much harder this days to have a better and more stable ICS 4 for SGSII. So, let's hope that it will done as soon as possible for many of us can't wait much longer to have a more stable ICS 4.

The Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 recently leaks. This is gonna be a full blast if this will officially release this coming few days. Two Android Ice Cream Sandwich has now available online with build number I9100XXKP4 and I9100XXKP8. Both of the two firmware were build as dated of  December 20, 2011 for all Europe version of Galaxy S2 . This is the beta release of the said Ice Cream Sandwich for SGS II, and the exact release date of the official build will be coming soon. So, just always keep an eye on Samsung Kies and via OTA notification updates.

- Ensure that battery is at-least 50% charge, much more recommended if its full charge
- Make a back up of all important files stored on the device, it will all deleted during this process.

2. Run ODIN and load each specific binary files on the designated buttons.

3. Set the SGS II in Download Mode: Turn Off the phone or remove the battery for a while then inplace it back again then Press and Hold Volume down+Center+Power Button simultaneously

Then connect the phone to PC when the screen says" Downloading - Do Not Turn Off Target"

If you can't get into download mode, use a Download mode jig.

4. Let the whole process finishes, once it successfully installed. Let the phone reboots, do not unplug it yet. 
5. Now, Set the device into download mode again, this time flash the Kernel binary file on the PDA button.
We need to flash the kernel files to avoid certain issues like bootloops and sudden auto reboots.

Again let it finish, once the phone reboots, its now safe to unplug the phone.
Do Wipe data/factory reset to get a fresh firmware installed. By typing *#1234# you can check your firmware info.

I9100XWKK5 Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread for Samsung Galaxy S II Leaks

This is another  Android 2.3.6 Gingebread firmware update hopefully  to be release soon in Europe forSamsung Galaxy S II - for it's already been leaked out recently. Here comes another Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread firmware update for Samsung Galaxy S II I9100. This has just been reportedly as an official Kies server firmware release in France, the version build number is I9100XWKJ2 in which got the default CSC file code XEF- France = I9100XEFKJ1 and a build date of October  21, 2011.

The SBL (Samsung Boot Loader) does not included in the file. So in flashing this in Odin, you may need to flash the old bootloader via PDA (or Bootloader) and then you can reset via USB Jig again.
