HTC HD2 NAND Toolkit v4.2.0.1 – Toolkit for HD2

Please Do Not Modify/Rename/Delete Any Files From The Program Files Directory! Doing So Might Brick Your Device!!!
Hello XDA Users / HD2 Owners,
This is an All in One Toolkit for HTC HD2 NAND Users. The main purpose of this toolkit is to simplify many complex tools/guides which are difficult or unsafe to use. As we all know that HD2 has got a powerful hardware base, but the pre-packed Windows Mobile operating system just ruins all the fun of having a device with high specs. So, developers on XDA like codesmith and Cotulla have created alternative bootloaders which can load Android kernels so that we can use Google’s Android operating system on our devices. This tool will help you install those bootloaders, and also do many other customization/modding works easily from one control panel. Here are the main features of the Toolkit:
Simplifies Installation of cLK and MAGLDR (Android Bootloaders)
Simplifies Installing Roms, Radios, SPL’s and other things by letting you install NBH Files with one click
Makes it easier to Re-Partition your Android Phone
Makes it easier to install Reicvery
Automates process of flashing NBH Files
Well, those were just the main highlights of the tool. There are a lots of other numerous features that will let you easily do many complex stuff. After lots of nights without sleep and red eyes, i have finally made this small piece of software able to do most things that a normal HD2 NAND Android would want to do easily.
Current Version: 4.2.0.1
Current Recovery Version: 5.0.2.6
Last Update: 6/15/2011
Latest HighLights
Installer
Express Mode – Express Mode enables you to automatically do a lots of stuff automatically. Just check the Express Tools button and try to use the features mentioned on the msgbox
NBH File Handler – Easily install nbh files by just opening it like a normal file
About The Software
Hd2 Toolkit is the result of a lots of nights of work with help from recognized developers such as arif-ali, seadersn and others. I have tried my best to make the software as user friendly and powerful as possible. I really appreciate the fact that you guys are using and loving this little software i made. At first, i made a tool that was intended to make it easier to repartition MAGLDR bootloader. Then gradually you guys started using it and started suggesting more and more features which i implemented as soon as i could. Version after version, i started to add new new features you guys suggested and soon i changed the name to ClockworkMod Installer. After few versions of developement, and bug reporting from T-Macgnolia, i finally added support for cLK bootloader. Then after adding a lot more features you guys suggested, i changed the name again, and this time to a name that makes broader sense, HD2 Toolkit. I will keep on updating this tool as frequently as i can. I hope you guys will like this tool. Any suggestions, comments, questions, bug reports or anything related to this tool are welcome. Thanks to mods who made this post a sticky

Guide on How to Install a leaked Honeycomb on HTC flyer

From a news month ago that HTC spokesperson has confirmed the Honeycomb upgrade for HTC flyer will be made available as soon as possible after it releases. It's been little while ago since that report claimed. But now, you might probably already know, The Beta version of the Honeycomb for HTC Flyer has leaked a few days ago. Advance users already tested the said ROM even it's been somewhat very complicated to install. The process reportedly tested and works on a Euro WWE 32 GB 3G Flyer and may also work with other variants but unconfirmly works well so far.

Here's a few screenshoots just for a brief details of what have we got to the the HTC Flyer Honeycomb update.

HTC Flyer Honeycomb Firmware SS2

Important Things Needs to Consider Before Following this Guide:
* This process is recommended for experts only!
* This guide is only tested on a Euro WWE 32GB 3G Flyer - it may work on other configurations, but this is untested (i'd advise reading the topic to see if anyone has experimented with your configuration!)
* Anything you do from this point forward is at your own risk - my Flyer works and i've resurrected a couple of others, but I take no responsibility if it all goes horribly wrong. You COULD brick your tablet
* Do NOT under any circumstances run the RUU in it's entirety nor 'fastboot flash rom.zip' - this will make irreversible changes that you don't want!
* Be careful if you flash any RUUs or do anything that could revert you to S-ON on a broken system - this could leave you stuck
The installing process needs to ensure that you have an RUU that matches the ROM version of your HTC Flyer just a back up if anything went wrong and can roll back the process. You can follow the complete step by step installation guides from Paul of Android Modaco here on this thread.

HTC EVO 4G Software Update - 4.53.651.1
It’s better to see that even if a newer, better smartphone, like the Evo 3D is out, Sprint and HTC have not given up on the Evo 4G yet. It’s still one of the most popular handsets on the market right up there with the iPhone. Now, it’s getting a bit more treatment as an OTA update is heading your way if your still and EVO 4G owner.

This latest update is reportedly to focus more in Sprint’s 4G WiMax network to fix bugs in that area.
Enhancements/Fixes:

- Integrated voice recognition accuracy with voice search and voice-to-text

- Image size issue with contact transfer over bluetooth

- Images cut off in Picasa

    * fixes for the infamous SMS bug
    * fix for multiple Gmail account syncing
    * fix for a battery that refuses to charge anymore when discharged beyond the low battery threshold
    * A hilarious to all non-Spanish-speaking users fix to the SMS app that reads "Me instead of Yo in SMS thread conversations when set to Spanish" ("Yo" means "I" in Spanish)

To flash it, follow these instructions:

   3. Place the file on the root of your SD card (the main directory you see when you mount your EVO as a disk drive)
   4. Reboot into recovery (power off, then hold volume down when you hit then power button to power back on)
   5. Select recovery from the menu with the power button, then, when the sign with the exclamation point appears, press Power+Volume Up at the same time, and wait (up to 30 seconds).
   6. Now, select bootloader with the power button, then scroll down to Recovery and select it with the power button.
   7. Finally, select "Apply sdcard:update.zip", wait for it do its thing, then select reboot. The fresh reboot may take a while and several restarts to apply – so be patient.
