I897UCKJ2 (AT&T) Samsung Captivate Android 2.3.5 Firmware Update leaks

Here's the first Android 2.3.5 unmodified firmware update that leaks out for AT&T 's Samsung Captivate SGH-I897. The firmware build number is I897UCKJ2 with build date of October 7, 2011.
I guess that the official 2.3.5 upgrade release will be coming nearly, since the Android 2.3.5 build for Infuse 4G had been also released
So, all beta testers and advance users can give it a try now! Just remember this is a beta version, just flash it at your own risk. .

AT&T Samsung Captivate I897 Firmware I897UCKH3 Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread is online!

New firmware for Samsung Captivate I897 AT&T leaked. I might say that some devs have managed to pulled directly this from Samsung's FUS (Firmware Update Server). I also read today on a twitter feed I subscribed. It was marked as I897UCKH4 but after I downloaded it, in the archive it was I987UCKH3. This is a leaked version usually the announcements are followed by a Kies official release within a few days. This is an upgrade version of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread firmware with a build date of August 8, 2011, since  from previously released Android 2.3.3 I897UCKF1 last July.

Anyway,  the I897UCKH3 Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread stock ROM  is now available via Samfirmware.com link only for those advance users of Samsung Captivate who wants to try it out.

Samsung Captivate users who are not familiar flashing stock ROM, can wait the Official release later..
The only issue just for now is that there is no rooting method yet works in this version.

Yesterday, the 2.3.3 Gingerbread hits T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Now ! AT&T Samsung Captivate I897 also getting Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update. Yes guys, there are two versions which can be available for download. The I897UCKE3 and I897UCKF1, UCK1 has a build date of May 26 2011 and the UKCF1 which only build last June 08 2011. 

You can  install these new firmware updates to your Samsung Captivate I987 by flashing it via ODIN Downloader tool.
